The Millennial Soul has won a 2017 Liebster Award!
I was nominated by the lovely Amy McCaroll of Bloom Like A Lotus Blog ! Thanks a million!! Check out her blog for posts about relationships, travel, fitness, fashion, and lifestyle!
What is the Liebster Award?
The Liebster Award is an award that recognizes new bloggers! What I love about it, is it is a great way for bloggers to support other bloggers! The award recognizes new bloggers that might not have a lot of traffic, but are still doing a great job and deserve to be recognized. I love sharing the blogging love!
Each person nominated should nominate 5 other blogs, with less than 200 followers. (Since “followers” did not specify what platform, I chose to go with subscribers/stick to blogs that I know are new!)
Questions for the Nominees
- What has been your biggest challenge with blogging?
- What is your number one tip for other bloggers?
- What are your hobbies other than blogging?
- What successful entrepreneur do you admire and why?
- Who is your favorite blogger and why?

- Item you can’t live without.
- What and who motivate you to write?

What has been your biggest challenge with blogging?
Learning! There is SO much about blogging I had no idea about! I have joined a couple groups on Facebook which are amazing for the blogging community where I can ask questions, which has been a life saver! I have had to learn a lot about different platforms, including minor graphic design, and still have so far to go. There is a lot more to a blog than writing, and that is by far my biggest challenge!
What is your number one tip for other bloggers?
Join a community group! There are so many of them – I think I belong to at least 10 on Facebook alone – and it’s great to feel part of a community, instead of feeling like you’re the only one trying to get your words out into the world. The world needs your message, and they are ready! Having support groups is a great way to remember that and I would be nowhere without all of them.
What are your hobbies other than blogging?
I love to travel, I’ve been to a couple countries this year, and all along the East coast and a trip to the West coast this year! I run almost everyday and someday hope to have enough time to run a marathon. Lastly, I started gymnastics this year because I have always wanted to learn how to do a backflip!
What successful entrepreneur to do you admire and why?
Gabby Bernstein. I want to BE Gabby, lol. I love that she inspires people to follow their dreams. One day she had a vision she wanted to be a writer and motivational speaker, and even though she had no writing experience or much speaking experience she KNEW she could do it. And she did it. I admire that! And her message is always positive, which I think the world needs so much more of.
Who is your favorite blogger and why?
I really love Leeor Alexandra of Living Lovelee. Her posts and videos are on the Law of Attraction, she covers a lot of topics, and she is super positive!
Tell us about your blog and why you started blogging.
I started this blog as a way for me to document my trials and errors with Law of Attraction and spirituality. I want to be able to share in a relateable way what I have found to work and what doesn’t, because I wish there was more of that out there! Additionally, I wanted to be a writer, and needed to actually write to do it! And I want to encourage people to follow their dreams, and keep them positive!
Item you can’t live without
I can’t live without my iPod. I know they don’t even really make them anymore, but I use it when I run. I love my music in my hand. And yes, I’m still one of those people that pays and downloads my own music because I like to support artists and want all my music offline and commercial free. The power of music is that there is a song for everything, and I need that!
What and who motivate you to write?
This is a hard question. I feel very self-motivated, which I hate to say. But I’m doing this for me. And the girls like me, who want to be able to get answers to lives big questions.
Here’s to bloggers supporting other bloggers! Again, I am so thankful to receive the award and look forward to reading my nominees responses!
