Just last night I was talking to my roommate about romance. She was telling me her ex-boyfriend won her over by buying her an Edible Arrangement once a week for months. She laughed and said it was so expensive, she would have been fine with just flowers. I then laughed and told her I had never had a boy buy me flowers before. (One time an ex gave me one rose on a valentines dinner, but they were giving them out at the steakhouse for free, so does it really count? No.) We were joking around for a couple minutes about how nice it would be to get flowers.
I had read a chapter in E Squared by Pam Grout, where she was talking about putting an idea into the “FP”, which is another way of saying The Universe. She tells a story about how one of her friends put it into the FP that she wanted men to call her up at night, and in the next weeks received calls from exes, friends, and even strangers. Reading that a sarcastic thought crossed my mind, based on my conversation with my roommate
I laughed at this thought to myself, then went to bed.
The next day, I was doing my work at a local Starbucks, like I always do and a man asked me to watch his bag when he went to the restroom. Then, we he got back I asked him to watch my stuff when I went to grab a water. I came back and thanked him, and we started small talking. He was super interesting, and told me about his time as an Olympian, how he lost his wife in a bad accident, and how to turn your dreams into visions. (Check out my post about how I’ve been attracting so many inspiring people lately here.) It was a lovely chat, and then he had to go to a meeting, and I got back to my work.
About an hour later, someone comes up behind me and I screamed. It was the man from earlier, and he had brought me flowers! He told me he was always in training (10 hours a day my god!!) or taking care of his twin daughters, that he didn’t get to socialize much and that I made his day. Little did he know he made mine by bringing me my first bouquet of flowers from a man!
I had joked about flowers with my roommate and sent out a wild intention of it, all in the name of fun. The very next day I had a bouquet of flowers given to me. This story might be simple, but it really shows how amazing and FAST manifestations can be!
